Why should you apply?

With classes capped at 25 and a student population of around 500, you will get the chance to form real connections with your students, your colleagues, and your community.
Country lifestyle and living opportunities: Enjoy the pace and affordability of a friendly rural town, with many options for living in Maryborough or in nearby small towns such as Clunes, Avoca, Newstead, and Castlemaine. With Ballarat and Bendigo both less than an hour away for shopping, services, sport and family life, it's genuinely workable to live in either city and commute to Highview. Many staff also find it convenient to organise carpooling with colleagues when it suits.

Wellbeing and work-life balance: A workplace that is family-friendly and prioritises our greatest asset - our people - with a Staff Wellbeing Program, a supportive culture, and practical options that can include part-time hours and job sharing (role-dependent).
Professional growth: Access relevant, engaging professional learning and a school culture that values collaboration, continual improvement, and career growth and progression.
