Lead the wellbeing, connection and engagement of students following a VCE or VET pathway in Years 11 and 12, while providing support in administration, compliance and exam provisions of these programs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an inspirational Head of Year (Years 11-12) to lead the wellbeing, connection and engagement of our senior students in 2027. This role:

  • leads a team of DELTA Mentors across Years 11 and 12
  • acts as the key point of contact for families as students navigate the VCE and VET years
  • supports VCE and VET administration and exam provisions in partnership with the Director of Learning and Innovation and VASS Administrators

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Current VIT registration (or capacity to attain), with a relevant teaching qualification
  • Strong understanding of the wellbeing needs of senior secondary students, and demonstrated experience in VCE/VET administration and/or leadership
  • Proven ability to lead and support a team of mentors, including giving feedback and building team culture
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including with families, VCAA and VTAC processes
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

CONDITIONS AND SALARY

Per the Highview College Enterprise Agreement:

  • $84,443-$126,450, depending on level
  • POR2 allowance: $6,536 per annum
