ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teacher Aide to support students with additional learning needs to access the curriculum and other College opportunities. This role:
- provides one-to-one and small-group support in the classroom and other College settings, implementing the adjustments and modifications set out in students' Individual Education Plans
- supports students with disability and additional learning needs to engage in the full range of academic, social and physical activities offered at the College, including camps and excursions
- works closely with the Head of Learning Diversity and classroom teachers to monitor student progress and respond to changing needs

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Current Working with Children Check (or capacity to obtain)
- Strong consideration for student wellbeing, with the ability to relate well to students with additional learning needs
- Confident and proficient use of everyday IT and assistive technology tools
- Sound communication, problem-solving and time-management skills
- A relevant qualification in Education Support, Disability Support or a related field (or willingness to obtain) is highly regarded.
CONDITIONS AND SALARY
Per the Highview College Enterprise Agreement:
- $60,867-$99,124, depending on level and experience (Category B employee)
